About me
I am a software engineer at Noeon Research and a Master's student at Hideki Nakayama Laboratory, Graduate School of Information and Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo. My interests include fundamental theories of physics (e.g., The Wolfram Physics Project), Observer Theory, statistical mechanics, quantum mechanics, general relativity, Active Inference and the Free Energy Principle, consciousness, and machine intelligence.
While I do not consider myself a Buddhist, I am a follower of the Blessed One. Shakyamuni Buddha, after all, wasn't a Buddhist—he was a spiritual seeker. My goal is to understand and perfect the transmission of the Dhamma. To that end, I am working on a Free Energy Principle and Active Inference-based computational neurophenomenological interpretation of Gautama's teachings.
Insipred by Stephen Wolfram's A New Kind of Science, I call my approach A New Kind of Dhamma, since it seeks to provide a computational model in which Buddha's dispensation can be understood and accepted by the intellect.
